Behnood Massoumi

Born in 1980 in Tehran, Behnood Massoumi is an architect and artist known for blending architectural concepts with artistic expression. His works often explore themes of spatial perception, confinement, and self-reflection. Massoumi debuted with a volumetric exhibition in 2007 and later showcased his talent in architectural photography and interior design through multiple group exhibitions. His 2019 and 2021 solo exhibitions at Aliha Gallery highlighted his innovative approach to modern art and Iranian architecture, solidifying his reputation as a visionary at the intersection of these disciplines. Currently based in Paris, he contributes to Honargardi Media as a columnist and offers remote art consultancy for Aliha Gallery. Massoumi's reflective works, often imprinted on polished metal or body forms, challenge traditional boundaries of art and architecture while inviting viewers to introspect their relationship with space and identity.
