Description
Nazila Karimi is a researcher and digital art artist who holds a Master's degree in Art Research from Islamic Azad University, Central Tehran Branch. She is the author of a book on glitch art titled "The Glitch: The Language of Pixels" in Iran, which explores Iranian familiarity with this genre of digital art. The book was published by Nazar Publishing in 2023.
She is also the translator of three books in the field of digital arts:
- "The Glitch Moment(um)" by Rosa Menkman, the first manifesto of glitch art in the world.
- "Beyond Resolution" by Rosa Menkman.
- "The Aesthetics of Glitch" by Shai Moradi.
