About Exhibition
The Blind Owl is an immersive group typography project inspired by the haunting world of Sadegh Hedayat’s renowned novel. Rather than a direct adaptation, this exhibition explores the fragmented, foggy, and enigmatic atmosphere that seeps beyond the written lines, delving into the emotional voids and silent anxieties that haunt the spaces between words.
Typography here acts as a second language — the form, composition, and empty spaces carry moods more than meanings, evoking a sense of isolation, suppressed yearning, and subtle dread.
Curated by Niloofar Gheysari, this project invites viewers to not just read The Blind Owl, but to feel it — asking the elusive question: what might The Blind Owl look like if we chose not to read it, but to sense it?
